Keiichi Tsuchiya, the real-life Drift King, had a cameo in Initial D before The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift. Here in Act 23 of Initial D First Stage, Tsuchiya himself is on the phone talking to Bunta, the father of Takumi “Tak” Fujiwara, the legendary driver of Mt. Akinas Toyota Sprinter Trueno AE86.
